BUSH HID THE FACTS EXPLAINED

It appears that a lot of other character strings in the pattern 4 letters, 3 letters, 3 letters and 5 letters will give the same result. For example, the phrase "Bill fed the goats" also displays the garbled text as shown below:



In fact, even a line of text such as "hhhh hhh hhh hhhhh" will elicit the same results.

Since I first published this article, a few readers have pointed out that some character strings that fit the "4,3,3,5" pattern do not generate the error. For example, the phrase "Bush hid the truth" is displayed normally. However, conspiracy theorists should not take this as aiding their argument. "Fred led the brats", "brad ate the trees" and other strings also escape the error.

Thus, any hint of political conspiracy fades into oblivion and is replaced by a rather mundane programming bug. It seems probable that a certain combination and/or frequency of letters in the character string cause Notepad to misinterpret the encoding of the file when it is re-opened. If the file is originally saved as "Unicode" rather than "ANSI" the text displays correctly. Older versions of Notepad such as those that came with Windows 95, 98 or ME do not include Unicode support so the error does not occur.

So, nothing weird here at all...except perhaps for the fact that someone, somewhere had nothing better to do than turn a simple software glitch into another lame conspiracy theory.

Customise your Flash Drive

You know these "Viruses" on your USB, well here's a way to get rid of them.
Create a file and name it autorun.inf
in this autorun file there should be a header which is [autorun]
you could add new items to be veiwed when rightclicking on your flash drive by this procedure


To change the Icon you could add in the autorun file this code.
icon=ONS.ico
ofcourse there should be a file of name ONS in the flash drive

This will display Help! I’m Lost! in the context menu so that you can click on it. But, it doesn’t know what to do when you click on it. Tell the system by using shell\verb\command option. In our example, we want to run the Lost.exe application. Adding this line will do the trick:

shell\lost\command=Lost.exe

You can add as many of these line pairs as you want to make the context menu as custom as you want.

To autorun a program use this
open=Programs\ONS\ONS.exe

Internet Explorer Title

IE appends the string "Microsoft Internet Explorer" to all the webpage titles.
This extra part is called the window title. To change it into a different string, navigator to Main.
To change the Internet Explorer Title Follow these steps
->Start
->Run
->Regedit
->Create the file HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\Window Title
-> Change the contents, it should appear as soon as you restart IE

don't press "enter" save the file
close notepad
open the file again

Invisible Folder

Create invisible folder in windows & xp by using follwing tricks. The folder will not be hidden but will be invisible to eyes as it’ll be same as background & it’s icon is like that. Steps are bellow:-
1)Right Click on the desktop.Make a new folder
2)Now rename the folder to a unnamed one (to do this u have to hold ALT key and type 0160 or hold on Alt key and type 255(numlock should be on & use numpads ) ).
3)Now u have a folder with out a name.
4)Right click on the folder>properties>customize. Click on change icon.
5)Scroll a bit, u should find some empty spaces,(empty or blank iconimage) Click on any one of them. Press ok.
